Shortly before we left for Vietnam the famous Japanese Sakura were in full blossom and so I took lots of mediocre pictures of them to try (and failed) at capturing their beauty. It's a famous Japanese sight, though, so I'd thought I share it with you all.
There is an annual Hanami or Cherry Blossom Viewing Festival held at the Kintai Bridge (the arched bridge in these photos) each spring. We were told the crowds during the weekend were outrageous so we checked it out on a Thursday night.
