October 2013

October was a pleasantly slow month for us. We didn't take any big trips and mostly just hung around the house. Still, here are a few photos of what we were up to.

I started looking very pregnant.

We ate at our favorite Italian restaurant in Iwakuni, Mottimo Pasta where they oozing-with-butter breadsticks are served in German Biersteins.

My English students brought Hello Kitty x Halloween doughnuts from Mr. Donut. Oishii!

Goose joined us for dinner.

I made pumpkin scones that were equal in size...fail. Tasted good though!

Goose says good-bye to me every morning from the top of the steps. I assume it's so she can just go back to bed  after I leave.

There was the Halloween Howl. Along with the 80's Rock Band theme, we dressed as Metalheads.

And Nick was promoted to Lieutenant, Junior Grade and started a new job in planning. 

 No longer Bachelor Housing Director!
